I booked my tickets online and it did go through in the end, but for some reason the whole process felt a bit clunky. I had to reload the page once, and I wish the prices and fees were clearer before getting to checkout. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, just average...

"Fun Visit, but I Felt a Little Let Down"
I had a fun time overall, but I couldn’t help feeling a bit disappointed by how worn down some areas were. A few of the locker doors were broken, and the bathrooms really needed more attention. The staff was friendly enough, which I appreciated, but I wish the place felt cleaner and better taken care of

We had a good time at Avalanche Bay overall. The kids had a blast, so that was the main thing. That said, the changing rooms definitely could use some attention. The floors were wet, there was some trash here and there, and a few of the stalls didn’t seem like they’d been checked in a while. It wasn’t awful or anything, just not as clean as I expected. Still a fun place, but I’d love to see them keep the changing area a little more cleaned up

"Kids area was just kind of meh"
I don’t know, the kids area just didn’t really do it for us. It was fine, I guess, but it felt like it could’ve been a lot better. Nothing terrible happened, but I left feeling underwhelmed...

"Felt like the air was pretty much right"
The air inside felt warm enough to me, but not all stuffy or anything. The kids were comfortable the whole day, so I figure the temperature had to be good. I also didn’t feel cold after going on the slides, which usually means it was set right, at least for us.

The restrooms were cleaner than I figured they’d be for a waterpark that busy. The floors looked decent, the sinks seemed to have soap whenever we went in, and I noticed staff checking on things a couple of times.
That kind of stuff makes a big difference when you’re there with kids. It made the day feel a lot less stressful overall, so I’d say it’s an easy 5 stars from me.

"Lockers were a bit hit or miss"
I did eventually find a locker, but it took a while to track one down. It wasn’t terrible, just a little inconsistent and kind of frustrating, if that makes sense.

"Honestly, such an easy day"
Went on a Saturday, and I was expecting it to be way more crowded than it was. Like, I kept thinking we’d be stuck in lines all day, but nope... it was manageable. There were people around, sure, but it never felt overwhelming. Lines moved faster than I expected, and we could actually find spots to sit and take a break in between things, which made a huge difference. The kids got to do all the stuff they wanted without getting cranky from waiting forever, so yeah, really smooth day overall

"Pretty clean, almost surprisingly so"
The place was really clean and I don’t have any complaints. If anything, it was so spotless I kept wondering how they managed to keep it that way, but overall it was a good experience.

"Decent support, just a bit slow"
They did get back to me and answered what I needed, so that was fine. It just took a couple days, which felt a little long when I was waiting on it. Helpful enough overall, but the speed... could definitely be better.

We mainly went for the wave pool, and it was a lot of fun. The waves were good, and my kids didn’t want to get out for a while. It did get really crowded later on, and finding a place to sit was a bit tricky. Still, we had a good time overall.

"Fun day, but I ran out of things to do"
I had a good time overall, the day started off fun, and if you’re bringing kids, I can see them being totally happy here. But after a few hours, I kind of hit that point where I was like, wait, did we already do most of the rides? Maybe I expected more variety, especially for adults. It’s not a bad spot at all, just feels like it could use a few more ride options to keep the day going.

"Season pass was so worth it??"
We grabbed the season pass for Avalanche Bay it ended up being a really good deal for our family. After just a couple of visits, it basically paid for itself?? Super easy to use too, no awkward desk hassle or anything. We’ll probably end up getting it again next time.

"Smooth check-in, good start"
Check-in was quick and easy, which set a nice tone for the rest of the day. The staff got us sorted without making anything feel confusing, and we didn’t have to wait around long. It’s a small thing, but starting off without stress really makes the whole visit feel better

"The slides were shockingly well kept"
I went last weekend with my kids, the water slides were way better than I was expecting. They felt sturdy, smooth, and actually cared for, not like those tragic scratched-up slides you sometimes find at other parks. Even the bigger ones had that perfect dramatic rush without ever feeling sketchy.
The lines moved fast too, which felt like a small miracle, so we got to hit our favorites more than once. My youngest was obsessed with the bumpy slide and kept begging to go again like it was the greatest adventure of their life. Easy 5 stars from us for the slide quality.

"We had a good day at..."
We had a good day at Avalanche Bay, and the kids definitely had fun with the slides and wave pool. Compared to other water parks we’ve been to, though, the ticket price felt a little high for what was included, especially with the lines being longer than I hoped. It’s not a bad place at all, just felt like we paid a bit more than the experience was worth.

"Felt safe and could actually relax"
I’m someone who likes to feel reassured when I’m around water, and the lifeguards really helped with that. They seemed alert and attentive the whole time, which made it easier for me to relax and enjoy myself...

"We had my son’s birthday party at Avalanche..."
We had my son’s birthday party at Avalanche Bay, and overall the kids had a great time. The slides and wave pool kept them entertained pretty much the whole party, which made things easier for us parents.
I’m giving 4 stars mainly because it was crowded, and check-in took longer than I expected, so I was glad I kept an eye on our group and didn’t assume everything would move quickly. The staff was friendly, and the party room was fine for cake and presents, but I’d just recommend getting there early and staying organized if you’re bringing a group
